GET MOVING!!
so crazy!
1 pound fat vs 1 pound muscle.
Scale doesn’t matter!
Fat takes up more space!!

I cannot stress enough, how important it is for you to make a record of what you are eating daily.
Especially if you are starting out on your journey to a healthier lifestyle.
The main reason is because we can sometimes fool ourselves into thinking that we are not eating very much, when in actual fact, snacking (even fruits & nuts) can send your daily calorie intake up much more than you think.
The first rule is to realise that, aside from water, NO food is FREE food. Every food has a calorific value, no matter how low. The aim is to record it, so you are not going over your daily goal.
Fruits contain sugar. Some more than others. It’s ok to snack on fruits, but don’t consume huge amounts because the calories DO add up!
Nuts are high in fat! You really only should be consuming SMALL handfuls, and the servings must be carefully recorded.
It may seem tedious to record everything, everyday, but until you see and realise the real amounts you are consuming, you may still be wondering why you can’t seem to shed the pounds.
Even with all your hardwork in the gym you may have adverse effects if you’re over eating!!
There are so many apps for smartphones that help to record what you eat daily.. Fitness Pal is a great one..
I also recommend you buy a kitchen scale to correctly weigh your portions..
I hope this helps you all, and if you have any further queries please feel free to contact me.
Remember take it one step at a time!
Have not posted for a while!! But still going strong! I believe my last submission was when I was in the 160’s. I am now about 149lbs. 5’5. The first pic was in September at around 190lbs.. It’s been clean eating, & alot great emphasis on all types of cardio! Plus weight training!! I mix up my cardio.. Circuits, boxing, aerobics, spin, kick boxing, kettle bell circuits!! I also incoroporate High intensity workouts, & long distance running! I enjoy the variety, as it challenges my body in different ways, & never gets boring!!
I try to stick to a low calorie, low fat, low carb, high fibre high protein diet, of roughly 1500 calories per day.. My goal is around 147lbs so I’ve almost reached it!!
